My husband bought me one of the older gen ones about 2 and a half years ago and I loved it. When these new 3G + wifi ones came out, he got me one of those for Christmas and he took my old one, so now we both have one :) I don’t go anywhere without it! I hope you love yours as much as we love ours :)

We were prepared to pay full price anyway, and while I could have saved some money, after buying a charger and USB, it was likely only going to be about $20 cheaper. If the previous customer returned it with no charger or cord, there’s no telling what else would be wrong with it. I didn’t want to risk it for $20.
I should be receiving it in the mail Tuesday. I can’t wait!

Kindle uses a VERY common micro-usb cord that you probably have in your house from your phone or camera! My kindle can be charged with my phone charger, and I even bought an extra for $10 on eBay that works great! You will still end up saving a ton of money and my kindle is by far the best purchase (well, gift request) decision I’ve ever made!!!!!

I personally have the nook and love it. I read avidly and in the year I have had it, I have downloaded over 220 books, read most of them. So, weather it is nook or kindle, when you get it I am sure you will be happy with it…

I was just annoyed, because TWO different people told us it would be marked if there were parts missing! I get putting it back on the shelves and marking it “damaged” or “missing parts.” It was just a bummer.

We purchased a flat screen TV there and then found that we could get a better TV for a better price by purchasing it with our furniture. When we return the first TV to Target (obviously unopened) they opened it and made sure that every part was in the box. I think they knew all the parts weren’t there, that’s why it was discounted. Its good you were able to take it back!
