I don&#039;t think I purchased any maternity specific shirts the first time around- I made do with my regular looser shirts all the way till the end and just bought 3 shirts that were &quot;church wear&quot;, but those weren&#039;t either maternity shirts- they were just a more forgiving style (wrap shirts) in a large size. I only bought a few maternity skirts and was comfortable.
My second time around I didn&#039;t either purchase shirts, but this time I borrowed from a friend. It definitely was a good idea, but then it made me feel guilty when I stained a few things. (Oops.)]]></description>

With my first pregnancy, I wore a few pieces from my regular wardrobes clear into my third trimester, but found that they had gotten pretty stretched out and were no longer wearable as non-maternity clothes! Some brands just stretch out better than others, because I&#039;ve had good luck wearing other non-maternity items throughout my pregnancy.
