Anyway, when I’m overwhelmed at the thought of saving up for a house, I realize that the amount that I want to save is actually $10k less than we’ve scraped together for paying off debt and building up our e-fund. So really, I need to get over it.

I’m planning on keeping better track this year of how much we actually save each month and any extra income we earn (no matter how small). I think it will be a more concrete reminder of just how well we are doing when all I want to do is whine that it’s not enough.
